Cumberland House

Cumberland House Cree Nation is considered a northern community and is right on the North of 54th parallel. It is situated on an island which includes a Métis Settlement and Reserve Land and is considered two different communities with two different support systems. Cumberland House Cree Nation has their own outfitting cabins and outfitters.  Cumberland House Highway #123 to Thunder Rapids is broken asphalt and the remainder of the highway is gravel to Cumberland House.  Cumberland House is two (2) hours from the other communities and from outside services.
